I wasn't really there . I'm here but like waking from a real dream, I am looking around and seeing beauty but feeling uncertain. The face in the mirror is cadaverous to me - scary and emphasizing the chill my withered hands send off. Am I just wailing for the wambulance or are we in trouble? Disengaged and feeling the tediousness of things - things that are not at all tedious. Feigning interest, avoiding excitement, mojo where have you gone? Self disallusionment is as bad as self pity and both are messages not to be ignored. Physician, am I do for an oil change? Can the feeling come back when you're luxuriating but feel like you're misplaced if your tissue and gray matter are fossilizing? The Lou Gehrig "luckiest man alive" speech comes right here, Lord don't make me have ALS. It's sunny in dreamland, so watch me shake my shaker.
