Et Tu, Las Vegas? T R U T Hparadise

Writing out a dream makes sense only if 1) you remember the details AND 2) your choice of words reflects clarity and visuality. I'll try anyway:

The music in the background is like Tubular Bells and the first impression is rain drops close up. Immediately, there's a conversation between me and some guy passing me boxes much like Miles in Sideways passing his manuscript to Virginia Masden. But I take the boxes and try to carry them under each arm and I'm walking in the door to this restaurant. It looks like the one on a Ted Talk by a chef who is one of those uber-enviro guys all about sustainability. I sit at a booth with a small group and this girl walks over and leans towards me showing exceptional cleavage and says I should get back to the office. I get up and follow her but she's not there when I get out the door and I start walking but don't recognize where I am. I see a street sign and I'm on Woods St. I see a subway entrance and walk down the stairs. There are overhead signs but none for the Market-Frankford line. I ask a woman in uniform wearing a badge and she says "no Market-Frankford line". But I hear the train and get on it anyway. Then I remember the boxes I left back at the restaurant and get off the train at the next stop. I walk up the stairs and don't recognize where I am but I can see my office building off in the distance and start to run towards it. I say to myself "I'll get the boxes after work" and get to the front door and right then, I wake up.

The point of all this? If you're dreaming you're sleeping and sleep is good.
