Back on Jan 2 1955 the very 1st Bob Cummings Show, Love That Bob debuted. The cast included the guy who played Dobie Gillis and Ann B. Davis who was Alice on the Brady Bunch. Bob himself created this character who was a horny Hollywood photographer who resembled Bob Crane, Hogan's Hero guy, in real life. Bob never missed a chance to bang the drum slowly, if you know what I mean, the drums being the starlets that hung around the studio in LA where the show was broadcast. What Bob never knew was that Ann B. Davis had a crush on Bob and she despised his leg humping intensely. Well on that first show in '55, on the break before the last scene, I picked up on Ann's fuming in silence and walked behing her, put my hand on her hip and said "Don't move - I just need to adjust the light tower " which was next to her. She turned and looked at me and our lips brushed and we started making out right there. Paul Henning, the executive producer called "Places everybody" and I mosied to the back of the set and then out the door. It was years later I found out Schultzy, Ann's character was named after my nana who inspired Henning with her Teutonic ta-tas.
